DirecTV Stream users sue Disney over ESPN fees
A federal lawsuit claims Disney’s insistence that ESPN be placed in base programming packages causes subscription rates to increase.
DirecTV Stream is the name of a streaming subscription television service. The service was launched by AT&T in early 2020. As it exists now, DirecTV Stream is jointly operated by AT&T (70 percent) and TPG Capital (30 percent). The service is available in the United States and starts at $75 a month.
