Philo has launched six new streaming movie and documentary channels on the free tier of its service, the company announced on Tuesday.

The new channels include four that are programmed from Philo’s investor-owner Paramount — BET x Tyler Perry Comedy, BET x Tyler Perry Drama, Miramax Movie Channel and National Lampoon — as well as History & Warfare and The Shade Room.

The addition of the new free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels now brings the total number of free content streams offered through Philo to over 150. The channels are available to stream without a subscription to Philo’s premium TV package, which starts at $25 per month for networks owned by AMC Global Media, A+E Global Media, Paramount, Versant, Weigel Broadcasting, Warner Bros Discovery and others. (A bundled offering that includes access to the ad-supported plans of HBO Max, AMC Plus and Discovery Plus costs $33 per month).

Philo is widely supported on smart TVs and streaming devices, including those powered by Amazon Fire TV, Android TV (Google TV), Apple TV, Roku, Samsung, LG, Vizio, TCL and others. The Philo app is also available on smartphones and tablets.
