Radio broadcaster Audacy has inked an agreement with Fox News Media that will allow users of its streaming audio apps to listen to a simulcast of Fox Weather, the companies announced this week.
The deal, which took effect on Wednesday, allows users of the Audacy app for phones, tablets and smart TVs to stream forecasts and live reports from Fox Weather’s team of over 120 meteorologists and correspondents. The stream will be free to access through the Audacy app.
The agreement expands on a long-time partnership between Audacy and Fox News Media that saw the distribution of some Fox News Audio content on the streaming platform — mostly podcasts, but also some next-day audio versions of Fox News Media programming.
In addition to the Audacy app, Fox Weather is offered as an audio simulcast on streaming radio service TuneIn, and video streams are available through the Fox Weather smartphone app, on Fox-owned streaming service Tubi and on other free streaming TV platforms.
