Six new streaming channels from the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) have landed on Allen Media Group’s free streaming video platform Local Now.

The channels complement hundreds of other linear content streams available on Local Now, including streaming networks focused on local and national news, sports, entertainment, lifestyle, film and knowledge programming.

The six BBC streaming channels added to Local Now this week are:

  • Antiques Roadshow UK
  • BBC Doctor Who
  • BBC Earth
  • BBC Game Shows
  • BBC Impossible
  • BBC Top Gear

Over the past year, Local Now has inked content distribution agreements with a number of top-tier media and entertainment companies, bringing channels from Time Magazine, NBC Universal and CBS News and Stations to the platform.

Local Now is available as a free download across popular smart TV platforms, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV (Google TV) and Apple TV Plus, as well as most smartphones, tablets and smart display devices.
