Tastemade will reprise its annual “Grill Week” franchise this summer, with the free streaming channel tapping culinary icon Andrew Zimmern to serve as host of the week-long initiative.
Grill Week will include new episodes of Zimmern’s “Wild Game Kitchen,” along with other Tastemade shows like “All Up in My Grill” hosted by Dale Talde and “Barbecue: Life of Fire” by Pat Martin.
This year, “Hardcore Carnivore” will have its network and series premiere on Tastemade during Grill Week, a spokesperson affirmed on Wednesday.
Other programs that will air during Grill Week include “The Grill Trip,” “Pati’s Mexican Table,” “Worth the Hype” and “From Scratch.”
“Grill Week is a one-of-a-kind streaming event for all kinds of food lovers, and I’m beyond excited to host it this year,” Zimmern said in a statement. “Grilling is an art form, and this year’s programming lineup is all about exploring the flavors, cultures, and techniques that make cooking over fire so powerful. It’s going to be a week of fun, food, and fiery passion, and I can’t wait to share it with Tastemade’s audience.”
“Grill Week first launched on Tastemade in 2022, and since then, we’ve seen remarkable year-over-year growth, making it our most successful programming event to date,” said Jay Holzer, the Head of Programming at Tastemade. “This year, we’re thrilled to welcome Andrew as our first-ever host and double down on our investment in grilling content to deliver the biggest Grill Week yet. With new shows, exclusive recipes, and all-new content, our audience is truly in for a treat.”
Grill Week will stream on Tastemade starting June 30 and run through the July 4 holiday. Tastemade is widely available as a free streaming channel on leading platforms like Pluto TV, Xumo Play, Plex, The Roku Channel, MyFree DirecTV, Sling Freestream, Samsung TV Plus and LG Channels, among others.
