Starz is offering a deep discount on its Internet-based streaming television service.

For a limited time, new and former subscribers can sign up for three months of Starz for a total of just $3 a month (a 67 percent discount on the regular rate of $9 a month) when customers sign up by clicking or tapping this link — no code required. The deal runs through the beginning of October.

Starz offers access to hundreds of movies and television shows from parent company Lionsgate as well as Sony Pictures, Anchor Bay Entertainment, MGM Studios, Universal Pictures and Miramax.

New films streaming on Starz this month include the drama-musical “Gangland,” the crime drama “City of Lies,” horror film “Fantasy Island,” the 2019 remake of “Charlie’s Angels” and the 2002 blockbuster “Spider-Man.”

Starz is also the home of dozens of original series, including the latest incarnation from the successful “Power” franchise called “Power Book 3: Raising Kanan,” the wrestling comedy-drama “Heels,” literary drama “Outlander,” crime sensation “Luther” and the gripping documentary series “Confronting a Serial Killer.”

Retro TV shows, including “The Jeffersons,” “Sanford and Son,” “Knight Rider,” “Miami Vice” and “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” are also available in the Starz library.

The Starz app offers four simultaneous streams across its supported devices, including Apple and Android phones and tablets; Apple TV, Android TV, Roku and Amazon Fire TV smart devices; Xbox video game consoles and Samsung and LG smart TV sets.
