CBS (formerly the Columbia Broadcasting System) is a television broadcast network owned by ViacomCBS. In addition to the broadcast network, CBS operates more than a dozen local stations across the country as well as CBS News, CBS Sports and cable channels CBS Sports Network, Smithsonian Channel and Pop Network. Prior to its merger with Viacom, CBS also operated the premium multiplex movie services Showtime and The Movie Channel.

CBS confirms it is blocking Time Warner Cable internet customers from accessing streaming video on its website as the two companies work through a carriage dispute.
