Black Friday and Cyber Monday may have come and gone, but DIRECTV is still in the holiday spirit — and the satellite and streaming television provider is giving its customers a generous helping of freebies, perks and prizes over the next few weeks.

First, DIRECTV is upgrading its Signature streaming packages: Right now, new streamers can score anywhere from $35 to $45 off their first month of service when they sign up for the Entertainment package ($50 per month, normally $90 per month) or higher.

Those who sign up for the Entertainment package or better will also get five premium movie networks for three months at no extra cost. The movie networks are:

  • HBO Max (normally $17 per month)
  • Cinemax (normally $11 per month)
  • Paramount Plus with Showtime (normally $13 per month)
  • Starz (Normally $11 per month)
  • MGM Plus (normally $8 per month)

Existing customers can also score an extended free trial or deep discount on premium networks through the holidays. The existing free customer offers are:

  • HBO Max: Two free months (then $17 per month)
  • Cinemax, Paramount Plus with Showtime and/or Starz: Half off for three months (then normal rates apply)
  • MGM Plus: $1 per month for three months (then $8 per month)

All Signature packages include access to network-owned streaming apps like Disney Plus, Hulu and ESPN Unlimited, more than 130 free streaming channels from MyFree DIRECTV, unlimited cloud DVR and unlimited in-home streams — all at no extra cost. There are no contracts or long-term obligations.

Second, new DIRECTV customers receive four months of Spotify at no extra cost, with the music app widely available on phones, tablets and smart TV platforms. Streaming customers with the Gemini set-top box or Gemini Air device can listen to music, podcasts and audiobooks from the Spotify app on that platform as well.

Third, DIRECTV streaming customers with a Signature plan can try the Sports Pack add-on for free. The package unlocks access to channels like NBA TV, NFL Network, NFL RedZone, SEC Network, Tennis Channel, ESPNews, ESPN U, Big Ten Network, ACC Network, SEC Network, NHL Network, Golf Channel, MLB Strike Zone and CBS Sports Network, among others. Those with certain packages can also receive more than two dozen out-of-market regional sports networks. Sports Pack normally costs $15 per month.

Fourth, new and existing customers who enroll in the free loyalty program DIRECTV Perks will see even more opportunities to win prizes and rewards throughout the month of December. DIRECTV is offering more than $500,000 in Visa Reward Cards that range from $25 to $500 — just for watching DIRECTV. More information about DIRECTV Perks is available by clicking or tapping here.

Finally, DIRECTV is lowering the price of movie rentals throughout the month of December, with titles like “Flight Risk,” “Downton Abbey” and “The Amateur” priced at just $3 per 24-hour rental.
