Fuse Media has named Karl Meyer as its new Chief Revenue Officer, tapping a veteran executive with deep experience in advanced advertising and connected television (CTV) as the Latino-owned media company looks to accelerate growth across its linear, streaming and branded content businesses.
In his new role, Meyer will oversee revenue strategy across Fuse Media’s portfolio, which includes its flagship Fuse cable network, music-focused FM (Fuse Music), a growing streaming division that spans SVOD service Fuse Plus and multiple FAST channels, Fuse Studios, Ignition Studios and a branded content and live events business.
Meyer joins Fuse Media after holding senior leadership roles across the advanced TV and CTV ecosystem, including positions at Microsoft’s Xbox business, DIRECTV, TiVo and Discovery. Most recently, he was part of the Samsung Ads executive team, where he worked on global expansion initiatives across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.
“I’m excited to share that I’m starting a new chapter as Chief Revenue Officer at Fuse Media,” Meyer said in a post on LinkedIn. He described the company as “building a differentiated platform at the intersection of premium multicultural content, first-party data and advanced CTV solutions.”
A key pillar of that strategy is Culture Collective, which Fuse positions as the industry’s largest portfolio of diverse-owned and diverse-focused CTV supply. The initiative spans more than 30 premium FAST and CTV channels through partnerships with companies including Lionsgate, Tastemade, TMB, HARTBEAT and Gunpowder & Sky.
According to Meyer, the Culture Collective ecosystem now reaches more than 85 percent of multicultural households in the United States and has driven 49% growth in minutes watched, metrics he cited as evidence of increased engagement and scale among advertisers and agency partners.
“Those who know me know I’m energized by premium content and partnerships that unlock new audiences, accelerate growth and deepen agency and brand relationships,” Meyer said in a statement. “I’m excited to dig in and make an immediate impact.”
Fuse Media executives said Meyer’s background in uniting technology and media to drive monetization aligns with the company’s focus on advanced advertising and data-driven solutions as brands seek more effective ways to reach diverse audiences across platforms.
Based in New York City, Fuse Media has increasingly positioned itself as a multicultural media company with a broad footprint across cable, streaming, studios and live experiences. Meyer’s appointment signals a continued emphasis on scaling revenue through CTV, FAST distribution and advertiser partnerships tied to first-party data and culturally resonant content.
