Samsung’s free streaming television service Samsung TV Plus has added a new culinary-focused channel to its platform in France.

The new channel, TV5 Monde Chefs, offers viewers a journey into the world of fine dining and global gastronomy. TV5 Monde Chefs spotlights internationally renowned chefs, explores diverse food destinations, and highlights efforts to preserve culinary heritage and ecosystems.

“There is always a great story to share behind every dish,” TV5 Monde said in its announcement on Wednesday.

From farm-to-table experiences to the kitchens of world-class restaurants, the channel delves into the art of cooking and the culture of food. Featured programs include popular series such as Épicerie Fine and Papilles.

Programming from TV5 Monde Chefs is available via a dedicated linear content stream and through Samsung TV Plus’ on-demand catalog. The new channel is one of several programmed by TV5 Monde and distributed by Samsung TV Plus in the region, with the others being news-focused TV5 Monde Info and travel channel TV5 Monde Voyage.

Samsung TV Plus is available on most modern Samsung smart devices, including television sets, tablets and smartphones.
