SiriusXM Pandora will launch a live satellite and streaming channel curated by Conan O’Brien and featuring programs under the Team Coco brand this month, The Desk has learned.

The channel will launch on SiriusXM Channel 106 in the slot formerly occupied by Volume, which was removed from the satellite line-up and became a streaming-only channel in July.

Team Coco Radio is expected to offer re-runs of the flagship podcast “Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend” as well as select episodes of other shows distributed under the Team Coco Brand, including “Three Questions with Andy Richter,” “May I Elaborate?” with J.B. Smoove & Miles Grose, “Why Won’t You Date Me?” with Nicole Byer, “The Juice” with Solomon Georgio and “Literally!” with Rob Lowe.

An exact launch date for Team Coco Radio was not immediately available, but a source familiar with the company’s plan said it is scheduled to debut this month. SiriusXM Pandora has already finished brand imaging associated with the channel, including in-house promos and a channel logo.

A version of the Team Coco Radio logo was briefly visible to SiriusXM app users who stream radio through Apple’s CarPlay feature. The logo featured the words “Team Coco” in an oval, with the word “Radio” appearing below, offset to the bottom-right of the word mark.

SiriusXM Pandora acquired the Team Coco library in September for around $150 million, according to published reports. It previously acquired Earwolf, the distributor of “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend” and other Team Coco podcasts, as part of its $325 million purchase of Stitcher in 2020.
