After rolling out flexible service packages with transparent pricing for its residential subscribers last year, Charter Communications is doing more of the same for its business customers.

Starting this week, Charter is offering guaranteed pricing on its Spectrum Business Internet plans for at least three years. Spectrum is also rolling out a package that will give Spectrum Business Internet subscribers 500 Megabits-per-second (Mbps) connections for $40 per month when packaged with at least two other eligible services, including Business TV, Business Connect and Spectrum Mobile.

Current subscribers of Spectrum Business Ultra Internet are receiving a free upgrade in connection speeds, from 600 Mbps to 750 Mbps, the company said. And Charter’s industry-leading Customer Commitment that pledges transparent pricing, exceptional customer support and money-back guarantees now covers small business customers.

“We understand the unique challenges small businesses face, and the important role our internet, mobile and video services play in the success of their day-to-day operations,” Adam Ray, the Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Spectrum, said in a statement. “We created new, flexible packages with faster internet speeds and price guarantees to give small businesses more options to choose the Spectrum connectivity services they need to thrive.”

“Our small business customers play a vital role in the communities we serve,” Cliff Hagan, the Executive Vice President of Customer Operations at Spectrum, said on Wednesday. “By extending our first-of-its kind Customer Commitment to them, we are promising businesses reliable connectivity, transparency and an exceptional experience they can depend on to continue serving their customers, and if we fall short, we’ll make it right with money-back guarantees.”

Spectrum’s Business Customer Commitment includes a number of guarantees, including a full day bill credit if a business experiences a service-related outage that lasts longer than two hours and is not caused by a natural disaster, power outage or scheduled maintenance. Spectrum says it works to notify customers at least 15 minutes before a planned or unplanned service disruption.

Businesses that are not fully satisfied with their service can also request a refund within the first 30 days, and can receive a refund on mobile device purchases within the first 14 days. Additionally, Spectrum says there are no annual contracts on their small business services.

The company has updated its online web page with more information about the service-related offerings and its customer commitments.
