Streamers with Vizio smart TVs can now watch hundreds of free and premium channels from DirecTV via a native app on that platform, the company announced on Monday.

The DirecTV app on Vizio smart TVs puts more than 100,000 on-demand shows and hundreds of live news and sports channels at their fingertips.

The DirecTV app for Vizio includes access to MyFree DirecTV, the company’s free, ad-supported streaming TV platform, as well as its Signature and genre-based streaming packages that are available for monthly fees.

Consumers want control over when, where, and how they watch,” said Vikash Sharma, the Head of Product at DirecTV. “We’re continuing to deliver more choice and flexibility by making DirecTV available on more devices. With DirecTV on Vizio Smart TVs, viewers can quickly and directly access live channels and on-demand favorites, all within a premium app experience.”

The DirecTV app is also available for other streaming platforms, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Android TV (Google TV), and can be downloaded to phones and tablets as well.

Vizio is owned by Walmart.
