Monumental Sports Network is gaining carriage on a streaming version of DirecTV’s pay television service after the network went dark on two other leading streaming cable TV replacements this week.

On Tuesday, the regional sports network disappeared from Google-owned YouTube TV and Disney’s Hulu with Live TV, the two largest streaming cable TV-like platforms in the country.

The move left YouTube TV and Hulu with Live TV subscribers in the Washington, D.C. area without access to games from the NHL’s Washington Capitals, NBA’s Washington Wizards and WNBA’s Washington Mystics without access to locally-televised events from those teams from the two platforms.

On Wednesday, there was a glimmer of hope for fans of bundled TV: DirecTV said Monumental Sports Network was landing on its new “MyHome Team” package, an add-on to its MySports genre-based streaming pack. The sports package includes sports-inclusive channels like ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, Fox Sports 1, ESPN, NFL Network, NBA TV, NHL TV, MLB Network and Golf Channel for $70 per month, and the MyHome Team add-on offers access to regional sports channels for a separate fees.

Monumental Sports Network also offers its programming through its own streaming app, which costs $20 per month and includes live access to the same local sports available on its cable network. This week, the channel said it was lowering the rate of its annual streaming plan to $180, which amounts to a $60 per year savings based on the monthly price of the app.
