Comcast is raising the price of its StreamSaver bundle that includes access to the base tiers of Apple TV Plus, Netflix and Peacock Premium.
Starting December 22, the price of StreamSaver will go up to $18 per month, an increase of $3, Comcast said in a note to customers. It is the first time that Comcast has raised the price of the StreamSaver bundle since it was introduced in May 2024.
Comcast said it works to absorb the costs associated with different services offered to Xfinity TV and Xfinity Internet customers, and promised the StreamSaver bundle was still a 40 percent discount compared to buying all three services on their own.
The company didn’t give a specific reason for the adjustment, but it is almost certainly tied to a recent price increase on Apple TV Plus (soon to be renamed Apple TV). In August, Apple announced it was raising the price of Apple TV Plus by $3; today, a subscription to Apple TV Plus costs $13 per month, with the streamer set to offer live broadcasts of Formula 1 races to its American subscribers by early next year.
StreamSaver is available only to Comcast’s Xfinity TV and Xfinity Internet subscribers. A separate bundle that offers Apple TV and Peacock is available to anyone in the United States, even if they are not a Comcast customer. That bundle launched last month at a price of $15 per month.
