Fox News Media’s free, ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel Fox Weather is getting expanded distribution on DirecTV’s satellite platform.
The climate-focused network is now available on DirecTV Channel 363, which subscribers can watch if their satellite set-top boxes are connected to the Internet. DirecTV via Internet and DirecTV Stream customers are also getting access to the channel.
On DirecTV, Fox Weather is available to subscribers who have the Entertainment package or better, company officials said.
“As the fastest growing weather service, we are excited to expand our relationship with DirecTV to bring our crucial coverage to their audience,” Sharri Berg, the President of Fox Weather, said in a statement on Tuesday.
The addition of Fox Weather to DirecTV comes about a month before the network celebrates its three-year anniversary. The channel originally launched on a handful of FAST platforms, including Fox-owned Tubi, before expanding to dozens of free and premium television services.
In addition to DirecTV, Fox Weather is available on YouTube TV, Amazon Fire TV Channels, Xumo Play, Hulu with Live TV, YouTube TV, Fubo, Verizon Fios, Pluto TV, Samsung TV Plus, Sling TV, Sling Freestream and Dish Network. An audio simulcast of Fox Weather is also available ot stream for free through TuneIn.
