Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) will stop offering UEFA finals matches for free on YouTube in the United Kingdom, shifting those live events to its own streaming platform, Discovery Plus.

The matches will still be available to stream for free, according to WBD subsidiary TNT Sports. The event starts May 22 with a match between Bayer Leverkusen and Atalanta at the Dublin Arena and conclude with the UEFA Champions League Final between Borussia Dortmun and Real Madrid at Wembley Stadium on June 1.

Coverage will air on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate, and stream for free on Discovery Plus.  The 2024 UEFA Europa League final will start at 7 p.m. with commentary and analysis from Peter Crouch, Joe Cole and Owen Hargreaves. The UEFA Europa Conference League will air and stream live at 7 p.m. with analysis from Joe Cole and Don Hutchison.

TNT Sports subscribers via Discovery Plus Premium, EE, Sky or Virgin Media TV will be able to watch all the action on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate. Those with a standard or basic Discovery Plus subscription can watch live events through the app at no extra cost. Those who don’t have a Discovery Plus account will need to download the app and register for a login, but won’t need to pay for a subscription to watch the matches.
