Upstart streaming service Vidgo has quietly increased the price of its primarily English-language television packages.

Starting this month, the cost of Vidgo’s Plus package with over 110 channels of general entertainment, cable news and sports programming costs $70 a month, up from the previous price of $65 a month. The Premium tier that offers more general entertainment and sports channels now costs $85 a month, up from $80 a month.

It is the second time this year that Vidgo has increased the price of its packages. In February, a Vidgo executive confirmed the price of its Plus package went up from $60 a month to $65 a month, due in part to costs associated with delivering programming to its customers.

The price of two other programming packages — Vidgo Más and Vidgo Premium — did not increase. Vidgo Más offers more than 40 Spanish-language entertainment, news and sports channels for $40 a month. Vidgo Ultimate combines the Vidgo Premium and Vidgo Más packages into a single offering, priced at $100 a month.

Vidgo has programming agreements with Fox Corporation (Fox broadcast, Fox News, Fox Sports 1, Fox Business), the Walt Disney Company (ABC broadcast, Disney Channel, ESPN, FX, FXX, National Geographic, Freeform), the Discovery side of Warner Bros Discovery (Animal Planet, TLC, HGTV Discovery Channel) and the MTV Networks side of Paramount Global (Comedy Central, BET, VH1, MTV, Nickelodeon), among others.

Last year, Vidgo said it was reorganizing its executive leadership and overall business strategy to focus on building and marketing a service that appealed to cord-cutters who lived in the heartland of the country. As part of the plan, Vidgo said it was strategizing around networks that offered a mixture of college sports, right-of-center cable news and lifestyle programming that was highly sought by residents of so-called “flyover states.”

To that, Vidgo carries a handful of channels — including Newsmax, One America News, the Longhorn Network, SEC Network and TUDN — that can be difficult to find on comparable streaming services.
