Altice USA has unveiled a new low-cost streaming TV package for its Optimum Internet subscribers.

The service, called Entertainment TV, costs $30 and is available exclusively through the Optimum Stream platform. It includes more than 80 general entertainment, lifestyle and knowledge channels from programmers like A+E Networks, Paramount Global, Great American Family, AMC Networks and others, along with access to the regional news service News 12 in areas where the channel is available.

“As we continue to expand the availability of Optimum Stream in markets across our footprint, we are thrilled to introduce Entertainment TV as a new low-cost, high-quality entertainment solution for customers who are looking for a ‘sit back and relax’ viewing experience,” said Leroy Williams, the Chief Growth and Innovation Officer at Optimum. “Optimum is focused on providing superior customer experiences at every touchpoint – backed by a world-class network and product set – and putting our customers at the center of everything we do. This launch demonstrates our commitment to further enhancing the Optimum TV offering and bringing customers innovative TV packages that satisfy their unique viewing habits. We know our customers want choice and flexibility, and Entertainment TV does exactly that, providing an amazing option for the entertainment content customers want to watch, all at a competitive price point.”

Altice is enhancing the offering by allowing Optimum Internet subscribers to bundle Entertainment TV with their Optimum Mobile wireless plan, which starts at an additional $15 per month.

In addition to Entertainment TV, Optimum Stream unlocks thousands of entertainment options from the Google Play Store, including access to popular streaming TV services like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney Plus, Hulu, Xumo Play, Paramount Plus and Max. The device includes a voice-powered remote control that brings the Google Assistant to a user’s TV set.

Optimum customers can learn more about Entertainment TV by visiting the Optimum website. In addition to Entertainment TV, Optimum also offers national news and sports networks, movie channels and others through three different packages — Core TV, Select TV and Premier TV — starting around $40 per month with enrollment in AutoPay, paperless billing and an eligible Internet package.
