LG Electronics has expanded its lifestyle smart television line-up during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas this week.

The product refresh includes the launch of a new Wallpaper OLED smart TV model and the debut of Gallery TV, LG’s take on those popular Samsung Frame TV sets.

The Gallery TV is positioned as a companion product to LG’s existing Art TV offerings and is tightly integrated with the LG Gallery+ service, which features a catalog of more than 4,500 pieces of visual content refreshed monthly. LG describes the product as a “dedicated canvas” intended to blend into interior spaces rather than function solely as a traditional screen.

According to LG, the Gallery TV was developed in collaboration with museum curators and includes a “Gallery Mode” that adjusts color, brightness and contrast to better replicate the look and texture of original artwork. The TV uses a specialized screen designed to reduce glare and reflections, while built-in sensors automatically adjust picture quality based on ambient lighting conditions.

The Gallery TV will be offered in 55-inch and 65-inch models. It features a slim, flush-mount design that allows the screen to sit flat against the wall, along with customizable magnetic frames. LG said the set includes internal storage to allow users to curate and save artwork and images directly on the device.

While the Gallery TV is positioned primarily as a lifestyle and design product, LG is also emphasizing performance. The display uses LG’s MiniLED backlighting technology and is powered by the α (Alpha) 7 AI Processor, delivering 4K resolution. Audio is handled by AI Sound Pro with a virtual 9.1.2-channel configuration.

The Gallery TV experience is built around LG Gallery+, which LG describes as an interior-focused platform available across its TV lineup. In addition to its curated library, the service allows users to generate custom images using Generative AI tools or display personal photo collections. The platform also supports background music, with built-in tracks and Bluetooth streaming options.

“We will continue to lead the market by expanding our lifestyle TV lineup, transforming the screen into a companion that fluidly adapts to our customers’ preferences,” said Park Hyoung-sei, President of the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. “Our goal is to enrich customers’ lives by providing the freedom to design every aspect of their personal space.”
